When it comes to software, the more proficient your users are, the more efficient your business will be. To help campground owners and staff become more proficient with Campspot, we released a self-guided certification course in 2022, with more than 2,000 users completing the training in 2023 alone. 

Now, we’re excited to share, we’ve added three new learning modules to help Campspot users take their knowledge to the next level. 

About the Campspot Certification Program

The Campspot certification program is self-guided, offering both experienced users and newcomers the opportunity to learn various topics at their own pace. Each module offers a blend of instructional text and video content to help cater to a variety of learning styles. The courses also provide the user the option to print a learning guide. This guide is designed to have the user define various parts of the setup in their own words, acting as a quick reference guide for future use.

All the material in our certification program is designed to set up campground owners and operators for success. 

Core Training Modules 

Front Desk Fundamentals was the first module to go live in 2022. Since then we’ve added Campspot Accounting, Site Management, and Revenue Management, all designed to help users get an even deeper understanding of running their business in Campspot. 

Here’s a look at what’s covered in each of the training modules.

Front Desk Fundamentals

This program covers all the things a Front Desk customer service representative would need to know to navigate the Campspot Admin site. From logging in and resetting your password, to editing reservation details, invoice amounts, and guest profiles, to creating rules for pricing, occupancy, and more, this program covers it all.

Campspot Accounting

Campspot offers a range of powerful features that allow you to customize the way your park’s financial transactions are managed and reported through the Campspot platform. This certification is designed to provide users with valuable insights into Campspot’s Accounting capabilities, and is perfect for learners who manage the financial setup of your park’s Admin Site. You’ll gain a better understanding of how features in Campspot can be used to align with your accounting practices, learning things like how to map accounts, define revenue reporting, understand fee setting, and more.

Site Management

This module is designed to help Campspot users master the art of optimizing site management capabilities. From fine-tuning amenities and taxes to seamlessly incorporating new sites into your system, learners will gain proficiency in adjusting reservation rules and leveraging Campspot’s advanced Rule functionality for a seamless operational experience. You’ll also uncover the potential of supplementary features such as Add-ons and Admin Holds, learning how to harness their power to elevate your site management strategies.

Revenue Management

Take your revenue management to the next level with this training module, designed for operators with an eye on revenue strategy. This certification goes beyond functionality, with a focus on helping users to strategically adjust rates, optimize reservations, gain insightful guest data, and expand the park’s exposure. This training can help to enrich your overall strategy and elevate your park’s success.
