On Wednesday (April 15), Campspot made its express check-in feature fully operational, which includes electronic signature capabilities, according to a press release.

For Campspot customers, this will allow campground staff and their campers to take advantage of contactless check-in during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Aside from giving guests the ability to electronically sign documents, express check-in allows for customizable and automated communications to be sent to guests prior to arrival. The timely release of this feature has many forward-looking benefits.

“The ability for our customers to have eSignature technology at their disposal through our platform at no cost is a game-changer,” said Casey Cochran, director of business development at Campspot. “The launch of this feature will give those in the Campspot family a great advantage.”

In addition to this feature release, Campspot hosted the first segment of its new webinar training series this week, which had nearly 150 attendees. Campspot’s support team also went one step further in assisting its customers with the creation of a four-part video tutorial series about common front desk tasks within the software, such as making and editing reservations, according to the release.

“Both the webinar series and training videos are designed to increase customer comfortability with our platform — from the basic functions to more advanced features,” said Matt Christensen, operations manager at Campspot. “These growing digital resources are an extension of the excellent hands-on support our customers receive when they call or email us, not a replacement.”

It is standard for every Campspot customer to be assigned a dedicated account manager, noted the release. After guiding a new customer through the setup phase, account managers naturally remain the key go-to contacts for any park-specific needs thereafter.

Even before developing these new training assets, the company had received positive feedback regarding its account managers and focus on customer satisfaction, explained the release. One such review came from a campground manager based in Alaska.

“I implemented Campspot for their optimized grid. I have stayed with Campspot for their incredible customer service. They bend over backward for their customers. They understand the industry inside and out and have given me great suggestions to increase my revenue,” said Lara McGinnis, manager at Diamond M Ranch Resort.
