Campspot’s First Integration With Lightspeed Opens the Door for Multiple POS Possibilities

As a first step toward unlocking more POS options for campgrounds on Campspot, we launched our first integration with Lightspeed. In addition to being a leader in the POS and payments space serving more than 168,000 locations worldwide, Lightspeed is also a highly-requested vendor among Camspot Customers. 

The inaugural integration is with Lightspeed Restaurant POS. This comprehensive platform is designed to streamline all restaurant operations, and empowers campgrounds to more seamlessly manage the dining and cash-out experience. 

The decision to launch the Lightspeed Restaurant POS integration first was based on key customer feedback. It addresses operational gaps and specialized needs unique to restaurants and food and beverage applications. This aligns with our goal to provide comprehensive solutions catering to the diverse requirements of our parks.

Key Features of the Lightspeed Restaurant POS Integration

Key features of the integration enable users to look up current guests in Lightspeed by name or campsite and connect their dining transactions to their Campspot invoice. The integrated payment solution allows guests to charge their restaurant bill to their campsite or pay for it using the card already on file. 

This integration unifies the campground and restaurant operations for a more efficient workflow; it gives guests the opportunity to charge meals directly to their saved payment method in Campspot; and it simplifies the cash-out process, which can not only save time for the staff but also ensure accuracy in transactions.

This initial integration with Lightspeed opens the door to future POS integrations on Campspot, and helps to close gaps in the POS needs of our customers.
