Welcome to Campspot! Whether you are an avid camper, the occasional glamper, an expert RV-er, or new to the outdoors entirely, we're interested in working with you. Our team values diverse perspectives as we seek to create an easy-to-navigate and meaningful camping experience for everyone.
The Campspot Product Owner is a key project stakeholder. We are looking for a candidate who can precisely identify our vision for feature development and product improvements, and then clearly convey that vision to the development team and guide them through execution of that vision.
As the liaison between the development team, business team and end-users, the Product Owner must collaborate closely with all groups and have a firm understanding of the business domain and the varying needs of different types of users.
Product Owners manage the backlog for a development team. They refine stories for upcoming development cycles, and require insight from other Product team members to truly understand business problems and prioritize work accordingly.
Exceptional Product Owners show commitment by doing whatever is necessary to build the best product possible – and that means being actively engaged with their teams.
We hope you will consider joining our team! ALL human beings are welcome, and we are committed to helping you thrive here. We believe our team, as well as the outdoors, is for everyone.

Campspot crafts reservation software for resort owners that delivers their customers the perfect camping experience. We are a team of motivated people who use our talents to solve tough problems and build tested software.
Founded in early 2015, Campspot is looking to grow with people who embody our culture of continuous learning, innovation, and respectful collaboration. We’re made up of smart and innovative individuals who work together. Each of us adds value to our product with proven skills, ingenuity, and creativity, and we expand these qualities in a cycle of teaching and learning.
We value employee flexibility—from work schedule to dress code. This looser management style is paired with our expectation that employees hold themselves accountable for doing what needs to be done and to pitch in when a coworker needs help. On our small, self-managed team, initiative is a must.
